How to convert PDF to Excel

  1. Drop your PDF in the box above — a bank statement, an invoice, a price list, a report with tables.
  2. Press Convert to Excel. Every table on every page is found and copied into a sheet, with the rows and columns kept.
  3. Download the .xlsx and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Numbers are numbers, so you can add, sort and filter straight away.

What comes out

One sheet per page that has a table (or one per table, when a page has several). Column headings stay on top, amounts are read as numbers and dates as dates, and blank cells stay blank. Text that is not in a table — headings, notes, addresses — is not brought across, so the sheet stays clean.

Bank statements and invoices

The most common use. Statements from Indian banks, card statements and GST invoices convert well because their tables have ruled columns. For a statement you need to reconcile or file, the columns come out in the order they were printed — date, description, debit, credit, balance.

Is this PDF to Excel converter free?

Yes — free, no sign-up, no watermark, no limits.

My PDF has no visible table lines — will it work?

Usually, yes. Columns are found from the alignment of the text, not only from ruled lines. Very loose layouts may need a little tidying in Excel.

Does it convert scanned PDFs?

Not yet. A scan is a picture of the page with no text inside, and this tool reads text. If your statement is a scan, ask your bank for the PDF download (it always has real text), or convert it with PDF to Word, which reads scans, and copy the table from there.

Can I convert one page only?

Keep just the pages you need with Rotate, delete or keep only some pages, then convert.

Is my statement safe?

Files travel over HTTPS, are converted on our own servers in India and are deleted automatically within an hour. Nobody looks at them and nothing is kept unless you sign in to keep your files for 7 days.
