Speaker test
Play a tone on the left, right or both speakers, check the bass, and sweep 20 Hz to 20 kHz to hear what your speakers or headphones can do. Free, in the browser.
Start with the volume low. Left should play only from the left speaker or earbud, Right only from the right — if they are swapped, the headphones are on the wrong way or the channels are wired reversed. In the sweep, most adults stop hearing somewhere between 14 and 17 kHz; small laptop speakers go quiet below about 150 Hz. A rattle or buzz at one pitch means a loose or damaged speaker.
